Microtel Inn And Suites Myrtle Beach

This small hotel is clean and isn't bad if you are happy not being walking distance to the ocean. You are a short drive from the ocean, Broadway at the Beach, and the Freestyle Theme Park (formerly Hard Rock Theme Park). The staff was friendly, the pool was clean but small, and the hotel was easily accessible from a major highway. The only downside was a disturbance at 4:00 am - neighboring guests were arguing and police were involved. Most of the guests over the holiday weekend appeared to be vacationing with family, but the hotel did seem to attract some guests who might be considered undesirable, especially if you are traveling with small children. read more

We were pleased with the price, location and would stay there again.

The location of the hotel as very accommodating due to it was right across the street form the Tangier outlet. It made me upset I called down to front desk and request to have the someone come open my window but no one ever showed up. When I got to my room there was not remote control to the television.

This hotel is in a pretty good location, close to everything. It was adequate for my overnight trip.

Family members in another room needed to change rooms because the air conditioner was set to Ice Age, and the heater did not work. They were quickly switched to another room. We were placed in rooms on a non smoking floor, and rooms on the side away from Myrtle Beach Speedway.

Overall, a pleasant experience for the money and location.

Very good for families with children.
