Friendly front desk staff.
Thin walls, phones down, broken clock.

This hotel was acceptable for a one-night stay. The room was small and there was a lot of noise in the hallway. I couldn't call the front desk though because the phone lines were down. I also couldn't get a wake up call for the same reason, although the alarm clock wasn't working either.

Lobby / common area was too small.

For this particular trip, this hotel and stay was sufficient.

Microtel is right off of I-65 and next door to Cracker Barrel.
It's an older hotel and the rooms are very tiny.

This hotel is just what it's name suggests: tiny. It's good for those traveling on a budget. My room was small, but clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The room included a coffeemaker, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. There's free wireless and a complimentary continental breakfast.

Apparently, this hotel is not in the hospitality business.

Front desk staff were disrespectful and untrained in the necessary art of hospitality. Hotel franchise owner was indifferent to our complaints, and Microtel Inc.

The hotel room was extremely small - felt more like the cabin on a cruise ship than a hotel room. The TV in our room had issues with the color - so bad that you couldn't watch it. After getting the run-around from the staff at the hotel they finally switched us to a room that had a TV that worked. The shower barely had enough pressure to actually get clean. It took me 5 minutes just to rinse the soap out of my hair. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. read more

The bed was clean and we had a good night sleep.
The trash was not empted in the bathroom.

For the money you can not beat the hotel, it as clean and comfortable.
