Microtel Inn Raleigh Durham Airport

Room was very small, relatively clean, needed new carpet - but was perfect for what we needed it for - a place to sleep for a couple of nights!

Overall the experience is fine. The Queen Bed room , I took was very small. There is no extra Sofa in the room, just had a Computer chair. However, the room got a 6x2 ft cushion bench. Got a 23 inch Tube TV. Since I stayed for only one night, it is manageable, but if you planned to stay for more nights, this is not the place.The bath is clean and with ample lightning. The wash sink is very small and when I tried to wash my face, some water spill on the floor. Has got all other amenities like Small Fridge, Mirowave, Free Wifi Broadband Internet, AC Unit, Iron Box.There is no coffee brewer in the room. I saw this unit even in other cheap hotels. I didnt use TV at all during my stay and not sure abt the channels. read more

There was mold in the tub, the room had moldy smell. When I checked in I asked for a wake up call and I never received it. I also set the alarm clock and it did not work. I almost missed my flight back to Idaho. I was not impressed with how they were not friendly towards people.

If we were staying longer than one short (less than 6 hrs.) overnight, we would not stay here.

Loved it! The room was perfect for me. It was small but very clean and pretty. All the amenities I required were there including 24 hour airport shuttle.

The room was exactly what we expected. We needed bare bones, simple room with a bed to lay our heads on before an early flight the next day. It was exactly that. Much of the decor was outdated, but it was clean. The room was small, so I would not stay here for any more than a night. The room was small enough that it did cool it down however. Although we didn't have time to turn it on, others might be interested to know that the television was small by hotel standards. read more

This was a wonderful hotel. Everyone who worked here was wonderful at every hour! My husband and I traveled with a 3 yr old, 5 yr old and the staff was excellent. The rooms had everything we needed & more. And the location to the airport was great! They also have a great deal on parking your vehicle when you're gone! We stayed the night, flew out early, flew back in late, & stayed the night again. Parking total cost us $10, since we were gone 1 day over their 10 day deal. This is my hotel of choice from now on when we travel! read more
