Clean, up to date, near the highway, friendly service.

This hotel is clean, modern, has a pool, gazebo and playground for children. It is located just off the main street Staunton, VA and near the highway. There is a nice view of the Shenandoah Valley and the staff was very nice. This hotel also has laundry facilities that are cheap for if you are planning an extended stay.

Free cookies at night and basic continental breakfast.

Quiet. Nice staff. Left out cookies for us at 8pm. Basic continental breakfast, but great before hitting the road. For under 70 bucks can't be beat!

Staff was helpful. Continental breakfast was ok. Cookies in evening were good.
Difficult to get a comfortable temperature in the room.

I would not stay here again. Did not sleep well. Room was stuffy when AC was not blowing and under window heat pump would only blow when compressor was on. Had to set temperature very cold to get room to stay comfortable when compressor shut off. One minor issue was staff could not provide an additional pillow.

Fresh baked cookies and staff was very nice.
No complaints.

The hotel was very clean and very friendly staff. We would stay there again if we are ever in the area.

The room was clean, bed comfortable.
Toilet was broken, bad shower and no amenities such as shampoo. Only provided 1 bar of soap.

The free breakfast, and cookies in the evening.
Kind of small rooms but still ok for the price.

This was my first stay in a MicroTel Inn and it was an overall pleasure. There was no outstanding feature that I noticed, but very clean, well maintained and comfortable.

Central location.
When we arrived there was a dirty wash cloth folded for show in the bathroom! Maid must have not seen the dirt!

The room was adequate and the location central to everything we needed. The maid staff left something to be desired, but overall a very decent hotel.

The room was very clean.
No lamp by the bed and the lighting over the bed was not adjustable, so it was too bright for reading.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The window seat was very nice. The only draw backs were no lamp to read by at the bed and the water pressure was kind of low. This is a non-smoking hotel and when we could smell smoke pretty strong when we came in at night and again in the morning, but this is not the fault of the hotel, just a guest not following rules. read more

It was clean and the staff friendly.
The bed was a little hard and interior need some updating it had some cracks.

I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel for a short stay it was a two star hotel.

Well lighted parking lot.
Small breakfast area.

Clean with nice beds. Well lighted safe parking lot. Staff was friendly and helpful. Right off of interstate in nice area.
