Millennium Hotel Minneapolis

Rooms were a little small but the hotel was clean, affordable and conveniently located to downtown attractions.

The location is great.
But I can't speak much for anything else. I didn't use the hotel other than to sleep and shower. I arrived late in the evenings and was out early in the mornings. I didn't use the workout facilities and didn't eat or drink at the hotel. The rooms were clean and well appointed. My bed was comfortable. My single-occupancy room (with two full-sized beds) was a little small by Minneapolis standards. read more

The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The public areas of the hotel were clean and aesthetically pleasing. The restaurant and bar in the lobby area were very nice. The guest rooms were comfortable and spacious, but the decor was out-dated and there were scratches and scuff marks all over the wallpaper and furniture.

The room was hot all night despite trying to turn the AC down to 65, so it was uncomfortable all night. The sheets on the bed didn't fit right and pulled out, so I slept on crumpled sheets all night, and the phone didn't work upon entering the room and had to call the front desk to get it fixed, it wasn't even hooked up.

Right out of the 1980s. The sleeping rooms need a wholesale makeover. Furniture was chipped. Walls needed painting. Holes in the wall. Marginal bed. Very disappointing.
