Location
Service, housekeeping was extremely poor.

This hotel was not a 3. TV old, and in general room not impressive. They put us on a floor filled with teenagers that screamed until after midnight. We complained and there were minor attempts to quiet the kids. We wanted to move, but prepaid. The second night we had to leave to go home at 5 in the morning. The kids were partying until 1. The hotel gave us a free night as it was a horrible experience but don't know that we will use it. Housekeeping did not completely make the bed and did not clean the bathroom. read more

The location in relation to Charleston was great!
The restaurant was almost non existent.

Comfortable, well appointed rooms and beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to downtown Charlestown or the beach. The only downside was the restaurant, or lack of one; breakfast was the only meal available in the form of a marginal buffet.

Convenient to Charleston with plenty of parking.
With all the great views in the area their did'nt seem to be a good one from the hotel.

We were very pleased with our room and the service we experienced. Check in was a breeze.

The staff tried to accommodate us when there were problems with the room.
The maintenance of the room and public restrooms was very poor.

We were given a great room on the Priority 5th floor which would of been great if everything worked. I went to use the microwave and there was only a hole inside of it, no turntable or base. Also, the light on the nightstand didn't work. Maintenance could not fix either of the problems. The A/C fan was loud, too. We were comped with a free breakfast buffet, but I had to throw out the food I planned on making for breakfast. The public restroom in the lobby needed attention due to being out of toilet paper and a mess. read more

Location
The beds wore the most uncomfotable beds we have ever slept in at a Holiday Inn.

The beds should be pulled out and replaced!Sleeping on the floor would have been more comfortable.Hotel staff said basically to bad! The breakfast buffet looked like leftovers from the day before so we did not eat at hotel. The location was very good.

The hotel was convenient to all the local attractions.
The pool is seasonal and no one told us.

The hotel was nice, clean, and convenient. The pool being only seasonal was really bad for the entire family, because we thought since we listed a pool there would be one for our use.

They had the best pancakes and cinnamon Franch toast. My son ordered French toast 3 mornings. They are remodeling.
Painting in portico, plastic sheets everywhere. Rooms dungeon-like, small beds. Stone path from parking covered in pine straw.

The restaurant was pleasant, and the staff excellent. Breakfast was good during stay. Room was cleaned daily after 3:00 p.m.
