Good price and location.
Had no extra blankets.
Other than the shortage of blankets it was overall a good stay. The restaurant food and service was awful.

The TV was the best I ever had in a motel.
Ice machine broke down.
This is a motel with a spectacular scenic view. The room was large, clean, well appointed with a huge LCD TV. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this motel. I have eaten in the restaurant, also. It is excellent.

Great view.
Shower curtain.
This is an older style Holiday Inn with a basic room. Great price! Great view, room sits on top of mountain and overlooks the Tennessee Valley. The only downside was the shower curtain, the rings were broken and water leaked on floor.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and we could change our room from a king bed to 2 doubles.
I was expecting a 3 star and got 2 stars. The bed was very hard. The bathroom was very small.
It is a clean hotel. The staff a very friendly and accommodating, without a charge they will provide you toiletries. The beds, however were hard and the sheets too narrow to cover 2 people in bed.

Location.
Shower.
The hotel needs to work on its heater/air conditioners as we could not get our room a stable temperature. Also, the shower was awful. Very little water pressure and the shower head needed cleaned or replaced.

The view from the hotel was beautiful.
The room needed updating and was not clean.
This hotel was most likely built in the 1970s or 1980s and has not been updated since -- the furnishings and fixtures reflected the time period. The air in the room was stale, the tub was so stained that it appeared grimy, the toilet had not been cleaned (there was mildew in the bowl), the mattress was uncomfortable, and the overall feel of the hotel was more like a place for a clandestine meeting than for an overnight vacation stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, however. read more

Convenient location and beautiful view of valley.
Wireless internet was not working and caused major time loss when I tried to use lobby access port.

The hotel is on the top of the mountain with a fantastic view.
The plumbing was very loud when other rooms were using the shower, and the hotel was old and needed some repairs.
Some parts of the hotel has been remodeled and were great, others needed work. The view of the valley below is great, and when the leaves are in full change will be unbelievable.
