We are 15 minutes from Colonial Williamsburg, 20 minutes from Jamestown, Yorktown, NASA, Hampton Coliseum and the Virginia Beach and Space Museum. We are only 45 minutes from Virginia Beach and about an hour from Virginia State Capitol, Richmond VA. The staff was nice and helpful.
It wasn't clean.

I booked for a non-smoking hotel room and when I arrived the night person told me that they only had smoking rooms left. It was very late and she offered no apologies, she simply stated that she had some air freshener if I thought the room smelled terribly smoky. This hotel is not worth the money you pay, its not worth any money really. On the plus side the rest of the staff is nice. read more

We loved the clean rooms, the breakfast and the staff.

I would recommend this hotel for its friendly staff, clean rooms plus there is a wonderful restaurant onsite Vancosta that is more then terrific. The hotel is not a 5 star hotel but it is great for a few nights stay and very affordable.

Staff was friendly and helpful.
Not enough towels in the bathroom, would take dirty ones and not replace with new ones.

For the price I paid for my stay, overall I got my money worth. No real complaints. Not the greatest area to stay, but it was the closest hotel to the army base! Housekeeping needs some improvement because some days they didn't come by at all. Other than that, my stay was overall well.

TV did not work and I informed staff at desk and all they did was change battery and it still didn't work.

Motel was very comfortable and clean.

The bed was quite uncomfortable and the
A/C unit was loud. Other than that the hotel was what we payed for.

Bathrooms.

Staff was excellent and they were all very friendly and helpful. The only negative was the bathroom. Besides smelling bad, the tub/shower wouldn't drain.

Supplies in bathroom could have been better.

I found it to be very well centrally located by shopping plazas and tours. Something for everyone.

The check in staff was not courteous at all.

The Hotel was ok, but the check in staff was bad.
