Please be advised that effective for arrivals July 1 2010 and on, tax for room nights at this property will increase to 13.962 percent, due to the Transient Accommodations Tax increase of 1 percent.The OHANA Waikiki West is a 661-room hotel located just behind the International Market Place on Kuhio Avenue. Here you'll find OHANA's special brand of island hospitality. This popular hotel offers a slew of services, including a pool overlooking the street, a sundeck and coin-operated laundry. We did not like the shower.

Good hotel if you are paying equally. But if I was paying the prices printed on the back of our door I would have been upset.

I liked having a kitchenette.
Air condition in room did not work good, elevators slow, they shut off electricity for a day.

This hotel is perfect if you do not mind having a hot room. It was clean, workers were as friendly as can be considering they had a lot of angry customers due to shutting off electricity & closing pool one of the days we were there. The air did not work very well as it was so shuting off electricity was unacceptable.
