Marble topped tables, white straight-backed chairs, custom lighting and checkered carpet embellish rooms with full, queen or king sized beds, all featuring gilt-framed headboards, with most depicting images from famous Vermeer paintings. small rooms, few amenities

Overall room was small. hotel recently remodeled but had a modern dark ambience. Halls and elevators dark along with public areas. Hotel in the middle of theatre district so if heading to Broadway, hotel is convenient. If looking for a basic hotel near the theater, this hotel is adequate.

location was perfect!
No air conditioning in two rooms; 79 degrees in the room;

Dark hotel; lights on low. Many rooms did not have air conditioning working. Breakfast was fine; nothing special.

Small rooms and older, creepy hallways.

Revamped and more modern but best suited for a single traveler given the small rooms. Can't beat the location for a stay in New York's happening areas.

This hotel is trendy, hip and the service is very warm, inviting and helpful.

This hotel is in the perfect location for sightseeing or for business. It is practically in the middle of Times Square, but my room was quiet and it was fairly easy to stay away from the crowds. I was very comfortable and had everything I needed.
