This hotel was very comforting and hospitable. However, the location is in a really run-down area though they keep the hotel rather tidy. The major issue I have is the roaches! Yes, the roaches were many, huge and disgusting. When we first saw them we immediately left and went and stayed at the Hilton Garden.

We really enjoyed the space in the suite and the dining area was very good for our small reunion group to gather for breakfast. The breakfast.

The historic integrity of this hotel was excellent. Yet, it was so well kept, immaculate, and creature comforts abounding. I will revisit.

With impeccable quality and historic soundness it was quite delightful. A very comfortable and romantic gateway for my husband and me. We were refreshed by it's beauty and quality care. Food was excellent in taste and presentation.

When we requested a king room one was not available. The Desk Clerk upgraded us to a double queen larger room.

I like that it was such a Grand hotel, historic, and lot of Southern Charm.
I didn't like that the walls were not well insulated for sound. They had a large wedding party that weekend, a lot of drunk noise.

Grand historic hotel that should be on anyones radar if they are traveling that part of Augusta, GA. Have a Mint Julep and become Southern for a while, hell it wouldn't hurt a bit. Yes all come.

Friendly and beautifully restored historical building.
Parking was cramped.

The hotel was nearly booked the night we arrived so only a small room was available but the next night they upgraded us to a beautiful suite, which was very comfortable.

Incredible southern charm with a staff ready to handle the needs of the most demanding business traveler.
The neighborhood is beautiful, but since it is not downtown it is not within walking distance of anything.

The Partridge Inn is a perfect alternative to the cut and dry chain hotel experience, especially for the weary business traveler. Beautiful wrap around porches, most rooms have access to a balcony complete with rocking chairs, and a gorgeous bar, often featuring live music. Plenty of private spaces for business meetings. Convenient and gourmet breakfast buffet everyday. Skip the suites, the regular rooms have French door access to the wrap around porches, which will more than make up for the marginal benefit of a separate living room and bedroom. The bathrooms are well done, except for a silly glass shelf that sticks out over the sink, and makes it very difficult for a tall man to lean over the sink while shaving. Other than that, highly recommended. read more

Friendly and helpful staff.
My room needed some light bulb replacements.

This hotel is not for everyone, but I loved it's old-South atmosphere and charm.
