Penticton Lakeside Resort Conference Ctr.

We had to go into the business class room (and pay extra) because they were full. They told us when we checked in that we would get free breakfast everyday and they gave us coupons for that. We ordered at the restaurant & were charged for breakfast. I asked the server and she said all we were to get was continental and I said that they should have told us....she was not helpful and she was definitely not a happy person. I went to the front desk and they said the same. I said it didn't say anywhere what we were supposed to order and we even went back to look on the menu and it didn't say anything. The hotel itself was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and there was lots to do - 2 great restaurants on site, a busy club on the water, a casino, pools, fitness rooms, and a beautiful beach made this a really spectacular hotel.

Have stayed here several times since the mid 80's, always enjoyable, excellent facility, beautiful views.

The pool area was clean but in a weird location.

OK if you don't mind a remote that is slow to respond, no internet connection even though it is supposed to work. The accommodations were fine otherwise, but when there are only two people sharing a room. I would rather only have one bed, not two, I prefer the extra space. I would say that they way they treated us personally was first class but the facility is a bit run down. I would say though that it looked good, but as stated above, not great. Also, I really appreciate being able to have a dog and will go back just because of that. read more
