Open year round the 208-room lodge offers delicious dining at its own restaurant and at the famous Pikes Landing Restaurant. Pikes is very proud of its continually evolving Green Program including solar energy production. Our cabins are made of real Alaska logs from Nenana Alaska and have refridgerators and microwaves. Setting is great. Decor is nice. Location is good.
The bed was uncomfortable. The air conditioning did not work well, even on high.

We had a confirmation for 2 queen beds and rec'd a king bed with a roll away brought in for our 11.5 year old grandson. WE weren't happy about that and no price reduction was granted. we ate at the breakfast buffet and were ill immediately afterwards. There was (opera) music playing in the restaurant that was annoying and loud. The wait staff said the manager wouldn't allow them to touch the volume. Main restaurant rather dark and unappealing.

The price was right. It met our expectations. The location was very convenient for us. Beds very comfortable.
