Cheap.
Run down, dirty, not the nicest place around.
Great price for the money.

Price.
Unfriendly and dirty.
I like the price of Pinecrest Inn in Idaho Falls. But there was a big thumb nail around light- stand. (It's not ours) My daughter told me that some smells stung her nose.

Shower was too small. When cleaning crew cleaned the room, they always turned off the heater, so when we returned to the room at night, the room was cold.

Actual size of the room.
Pool and Hot Tub area dirty and old.
The room itself was very nice in size and was clean. The pool and hot tub area was dirty and old needs to be redone.

I liked the friendliness of the staff.
I didn't like the location. It seemed to be in a very noisy part of town.
The courtyard of the hotel was nice, but the place was quite noisy and seemed to be more of a hangout for young adults than a place to take children. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

The pool was the only thing I liked about this hotel.
The staff, the rooms, and just about everything else.
We booked 2 hotel rooms. We showed up after 5pm and was told that the rooms were still being cleaned and we would not be allowed to check in for another hour (at least). After we finally checked in, unloaded the car, we were able to get into the room (after 6pm). But soon found out that if we left, we would be unable to get back in because the keys weren't working. The maintenance man came but could not fix it. They had to call a second man to come fix it. We didn't want to have to reload the luggage into the car, could not leave our luggage in the room with the door having to stay open, and were told it wouldn't take long. We waited over 2 hours for it to get fixed. We asked for another room, we were denied. They told us they were booked, however, not everyone had checked in so we should have been given a room and when the key was fixed they could move one of the later arrivals to that room. The hotel did not seem very sanitary either and the air conditioner didn't work. I have never been so unsatisfied with a hotel, however, because of this experience. read more

Consciencious about cleanliness, better effort at maintenance than others of similar age/quality.
Some maintenance was performed by unqualified personnel, i.e. the bathroom vinyl tile had large gaps.

It had a television.
Lights and switches broken, not modern, table wobbly, smelled.
Not at all a good experience.

The staff was friendly, and tried hard to make up for the quality of the building.
The building was a dump! The rooms were old and dated.
You should change this hotel from the 2 star you claim it to be to a one star, so people know what they are agreeing to stay in.

Breakfast was included.
Carpet was so dirty our feet became black after a few minutes.
The hotel is very old. The biggest problem is that the carpet is very old and smells like mildew. Not only that, but the carpet was absolutely filthy. Our feet became black after walking around in our room. We informed the staff, but they didn't do anything. The walls are thin. Be prepared to hear your neighbors. Also, we needed a crib. The crib was not very clean and also smelled like mildew. The only positive thing about the stay was that they provided a very simple continental breakfast (oatmeal, bread, Danishes, etc.) read more
