The staff was very friendly, the room was really cute, and the price excellent.
The pillows were flat, but everything else was great!
The Pinewood Inn exceeded our expectations. We just wanted a cheap night's stay during a last minute ski trip to take advantage of the first storm of the winter, but really enjoyed our stay. The decor was great: Pinewood walls and ceilings, comfortable beds, and a pleasantly interesting shape to the room. More like a ski lodge than a motor court. The staff was friendly and very helpful. When we walked into the lobby with an unopened bottle of wine, they handed us a wine opener without us even having to ask! read more

For $45 bucks it was the best we could have done for that price. Clean, conveniently located, we must have gotten lucky.

The room we got had a separate bedroom and that was nice for our situation.
I expected no better than a motel 6, however, upon arrival the 2 beds included a seperate bedroom with 2 TV, a microwave, refrigerator, and spacious bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and was delighted that it was much better than a "motel 6"---but still an economy room...thanks we will stay there again.

The bed was comfortable. The TV worked.
There was no alarm clock. The bathroom was sloped downhill.
I've stayed in the area previously in what would be considered to be a 1 star, but if there was a lesser level it would qualify. It met my needs as far as needing a bed to sleep. Walking into the bathroom is like going downhill. The 1st hotel room I ever stayed where there was no alarm clock. Extremely tiny room, like a closet.

Rooms had wood paneling that was sort of charming.
Bathroom in poor condition and pool filled in with grass.
Definitely a budget hotel-the rooms were clean and rudimentary but I would have expected to pay a little less considering the condition of the bathroom. Definitely not spa in room as advertised-more like a shower you could sit down in!

Conveniently located, and the beds were reasonably comfortable.
The bed sheets had holes in them, the toilet was not firmly attached, and phone had a short in it.

The owner was very nice, the area was not so safe, there was no pool. It was a affordable place for me and family.
No tub, and swap cooler wasn't above our head it was under the table and below so the air didn't circulate much.
This was an affordable motel I was comfortable and the kids were comfortable. It was clean and enough space for the family. The fridge and microwave helped out a lot due my family budget. Overall clean and relaxing.
