Location. The evening drinks friendly & welcoming.
Room smaller than anticipated for an American hotel. Less furniture would have made a huge improvement.

The reception desk staff was friendly & efficient. The lobby very welcoming & well used. The breakfast was below standard of the hotel & the staff like disinterested robots.

staff was very accommodating to needs & requests, & location was excellent!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who might be visiting the Savannah area. The hotel was very nice, and the staff was friendly & courteous, & very helpful in suggesting where to eat.

Clean, comfortable, customer oriented staff and great location.
Limited bed accommodations due to size of hotel.

Planters Inn is a upscale establishment, that focuses on every detail to make your stay one of comfort. Centrally located, very close to all that Savannah has to offer. One of the cleanest historical buildings I have ever been in! Nicely appointed, quite and just plain charming to the last detail.

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful.
The decor was nice, but not as nice as they'd want you to hink.

The location was fantastic.

Thought that the hotel was great location, rooms were nice but the website was deceiving we were expecting to have breakfast on a patio/balcony when in fact it was a small room with very little natural light. Also I would recommend to ask for a room that does not face the parking garage it was very loud two nights of our stay and it was extremely bright because of the lighting that was in the parking garage – ie it looked like 3PM at midnight. read more

Decent location.
The neighborhood was loud at night.

I think the staff of the Planters Inn could step it up a notch and make the experience of travelers just a little nicer. Nothing was wrong, but little impressed me either. The evening receptions were very nice.

Staff was extra friendly and helpful. Location was perfect.
Rooms, at the rate, we got, had 2 twins (or 1 queen) and we had 3 people and had to take an inflatable bed.

This hotel was in an excellent location. The staff was wonderful! However, the twin beds were not exactly what we needed and there wasn't room for two double beds and they were not offered in conjunction with Priceline. I would not have elected to stay there with my child, but would if it were just my husband and myself. Being an unattractive parking garage. But the good thing was our car was valet parked in a city with limited parking and we never even had to use it. And then they let us keep our car there even after we checked out and we went site seeing! Although ice was put in the room nightly, it was not available to obtain if needed after the bellmen went home after 9pm or so. The area had expensive restaurants with lots of left over food and, although we had a cooler, we had no way of keeping anything cool due to not being able to get ice or cool drinks after returning to the room. Drink and ice machines would definitely be recommended. Other than that we had a wonderful stay. The rooms were nice and clean with plenty of towels. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful, and the continental breakfast was more than anyone could ask for with hot grits and waffles and such. We never had to leave to get breakfast. It was great! Overall we are happy with what we got using Priceline! read more
