The atmosphere was what we were looking for early19th century,21st century connivance.

I loved the feel of the hotel. It has an old world charm and new world conveniences. The bar and restaurant were wonderful. What was nice is that we stayed here before and the beds were old, there are new mattresses so it was very comfortable and still stayed with the decor of the hotel.

Comfortable bed, good air handling.
The first word out of every staff member's mouth was NO!

I have been in hotels all over the world and this is one of the worst experiences of my life. The room was smoky, non smoking room, the room was loud heard everything from outside, the food was overpriced, the staff was the rudest I've ever encountered anywhere, there is literally no parking, and the lobby the entrance is difficult to navigate. It's bad from beginning to end.

It was well kept and I loved the historical aspect.
There was a fly in my entree. But the hotel was quick to act. They comped the meal and gave us $25.00 off our hotel bill.

The experience wasn't perfect - but things happen to everyone. The hotel was quick to respond and everyone was very kind and courteous.

I like the atmosphere of the hotel.
I didn't like the showers in the hotel. It was hard to get the right water temperature in the shower.

I liked the old fashion atmosphere of the Hotel and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The service was also very good.

Terrible bed.

Fun experience but I would not stay again because the bed was very old and uncomfortable.

Very well maintained for being over 100 years old.

We had a pleasant overnight stay which met all our needs. I thought they offered everything we needed such as breakfast; lunch, etc. as well as a lounge for our return. I loved the rustic feel.

Staff at front desk were less than sociable.
