125 newly decorated spacious suites all with fully equipped kitchens with microwave and coffeemaker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, voice mail, in-room safe, in-room data port, ceiling fans, satellite TV, spectacular views from private balconies. Three pools with sundecks, hammocks, exercise room, nature trail, two beaches including the secluded Sugar Beach tucked away at the end of our nature trail and Pineapple Beach adjacent to our shoreline. Watersports center with complimentary ocean kayaks, snorkeling equipment and intro scuba course. Aquafin sailboats, windsurfing, parasailing, dive trips, sailing excursions, sport fishing, and boat rental available. Tee times can be arrange at nearby Mahogany Run Golf Course. Activities and tour desk, laundry facility, and a complimentary property shuttle, which goes from the top of the property to the beaches below, are all available. Beautiful views, great snorkeling, nice rooms, great restaurant.
In general the Caribbean culture is less accommodating. This is a cultural thing that travelers must get use to.

We truly enjoyed out stay. Would recommend it highly to families who like a quiet and beautiful atmosphere.

Room (floor) was a little dingy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Point Pleasant. We had friends staying at other places on the island, and our room was the largest. The location was great, the views were spectacular and the welcome gift was a nice touch. I would definitely stay at this property again, and would recommend it to anyone planning to visit St. Thomas. I would definitely suggest that any travelers rent a jeep - very steep roads on the entire island, and the resort is no exception. We rented a jeep, and are glad that we did! read more

The hotel was excellent.
There was not enough TV Channels.

I would recommend the hotel to my friend and family however I would advise them to get a rental since the area is hilly. It is a nice area to relax and the ambiance was romantic.

The view was great and romantic.
Transportation was difficult at night. Internet access was difficult.

Great view with large rooms but rundown in places. The star restaurant was excellent but with pushy staff.

Great scenic views overlooking the ocean!
There is not a front desk on duty 24 hrs per day.

Nice rooms with even better scenic views. The higher up the room the better the panoramic view. Beware of the iguanas in trees! I recommend renting a car as it's hard to find a cab at this locale late at night.

The gorgeous view from some of its rooms.
The furnishing of the room I stay is quite old and worn.

The location of the resort is quite good. I especially enjoyed the view from my room. Besides, checking out took a long time since there was only one staff and the computer was very slow.
