The family who owns and runs the hotel gives it tremendous grace and charm.
Not near public transportation. You'll need your own car.

Our experience at Casa da Nora started when one of the hotel's owners personally escorted us by car from the Leiria town center to his hotel. From that point on through our entire stay, it seemed that the family who runs the hotel took pride in personally making sure that our visit went smoothly -- whether by making suggestions on their restaurant's menu, or by giving us directions and recommendations to nearby attractions. The staff has easy access to the internet, so not many of your questions to them will go unanswered. Stay in one of the river view rooms if you can. The view is nicer, and the sunrise might make a brighter start to your day. read more
