The atmosphere; very relaxed.
The carpet was old in the hallways.

Overall, besides the carpet - the room was clean and comfortable.

It had a beautiful beach and were very accommodating for early check-in and late check-out.
Food not so good, halls a bit dingy. Not sure ice was filtered water.

The best beach along the coast as far as I could tell, but a bit crowded. The pool was very cold - but it was a cold week. Staff was very, very nice and the room was spotless and cheerful. Grounds were pretty and clean, too. They were very accommodating about checking in early and checking out late, which was really terrific as our flights did not correspond to check-in/out times. One thing for those with kids - the kids club, we heard, was closed in February, which doesn't make any sense to me. No beach toys or playground. read more

Nice Beach, Friendly Staff
Dirty interior, Poor Food, Room AC did not work, Not a good location

It definetly is not a 4 star hotel. Exterior is fairly nice, lobby is OK. Rooms and Hallways are dirty and need work. Our AC did not work and they were slow to help with this. Food is Poor and expensive, Hotel was dead, no people hardly and no entertainment or functions.Would not recommend this hotel.Beach was good.

Good location and pool area.
The staff and their unwillingness to accommodate.

Long story short, the room smelled and the maid just sprayed deodorizer on it instead of cleaning it. After that we had to fight with the staff to be given a different room.

The beach front.
Security.

A stranger broke into our room while I was taking a shower. When my wife came back to the hotel found out that a stranger was inside the room and escaped from the terrace. All doors were locked. However, the front door lock was loose and the security guard was receiving people arriving at the lobby. Security manager changed us to a different room and invited us breakfast and everybody was very concerned and friendly. However, this type of situations should not happen in a hotel of this category. read more

The beach was beautiful.
The food was gross and the beds are hard as rocks.

Not a 5 star experience. The only good things were the beach and the pool, and even at the pool they had no hot tubs. We would not go back ever.

The beach was the nicest of Cancun for swimming.
The staff at the reception were terribly rude. The doors and walls are so thin, you can hear people around - no privacy.

The lobby was the best thing about this hotel - very clean and modern.
Poor room quality, poor service.

Beware! The hotel, aside from the lobby and pool areas, is very dated. There were rust stains all over the bath tub, a foul smell in the bathroom and hallways of the hotel. And there were lots of extras charges (resort fee, service fee, and cover charges to dine-in the hotel restaurants). Definitely not a 4 star hotel. More like a 1star motel.

Hotel was clean and attractive with great service.
Hallways looked old and rooms were a little small.

Everything was great in the hotel except the hallways which could use some remodeling and the $21+ per night fee that can add up to a hefty amount in the end. Beach and pools were kind-friendly and beautiful.

Lost luggage was found by the staff, very helpful.
Water was $9.50
a bottle and no options.

Very nice and would stay again.
