Facilities, swimming pool and the private beach.
Extra chages when cheking out.
The hotel is excellent to stay in Vallarta, however I was very disappointed when at the end they charged about 25 USD per day for what they called the resort fee, this is the first time I see this and most of the guests were complaining about this. They said that this was for the use of the facilities, I think they should just include everything in the full fare they offer.

Private beach.
Pushy staff.
The room, location, and beach were the best! However, we felt the staff was cold and inconsiderate, esp. Because we did not attend a presentation. There was a distant vibe from the staff.

The rooms all face the bay and have spectacular views.
There was only one restaurant there and it's theme is Italian.
The hotel is beautiful with many flowers hanging on the outside. We stayed in a single room with a king bed. We loved the room and the bathroom was nice, the bathtub could have used some work. The view on the balcony was absolutely gorgeous. We actually saw whales from our balcony. It was a little cool when we went so we did not swim, but they have a nice pool and beach. This hotel is ten minutes from town and is more secluded, so cab fare is a little more expensive. I would love to stay there again. read more

Beach was great.
Hotel was good, the location was away from downtown , which was nice to enjoy the beach, but limited selection of restaurants. We ended up going to the town frequently for food. Staff at the restaurants was very friendly, front desk staff was not very friendly though. What put me off were the hidden charges revealed during checkout. The hotel added $12 per day Service & resort fee, and additional $100 resort fee per stay. read more

Hidden costs, hidden fees.
Add about 30.00 us funds to the cost of your room offer at check out.
Very nice overall, inconvenient to Downtown.

Price was O.K.
You guys gave it 4 stars. It should be more like 3 stars.
The place was nice back in the 50's. Today, like old starlets, the hotel is in need of a face lift. The bed and sheets were what you would expect in a Motel 6 and the shower was prefect if you were under 4'11". Had a nice ocean view but could never enjoy it since it overlooked the pool where there were drunks down there until the wee hours. At the pool you had to basically serve yourself since there were 6 servers milling around the bar but not one came to our table to ask if we needed anything. read more

Beach, location, food.
Presidente Intercontinental went above and beyond my expectations. Would definitely reconsider staying in this hotel in the future.

Plenty of kids channels on TV for little ones and lots of space for wife and myself.
It needs another option for evening dinner besides the full 4 course dining adventure.
Slightly remote, but easy access to downtown on city bus (bus is fun for kids, big smiles running to catch it, bumpy ride along winding road). Spacious rooms with no maintenance tile floors. Upper floors have a nice view and gentle sound of surf is excellent to sleep to. Good destination hotel to decompress, away from the club scene.

Great beach, friendly staff.
A little initial pressure on time shares.
The breakfast buffet was not that great and it costs $20.
