We are only minutes from the National Military Park, Hall of Presidents, Lutheran Theological Seminary, Gettysburg Hospital and National Emergency Training Center. Just a short drive will take you to Boyds Bear Factory and Store and Round Barn Farm Market. The AAA 2-Diamond President Inn and Suites, a Magnuson Hotels affiliate, is centrally located between Route 30 and Route 15. The Inn was built on the site of the old Dolly Madison Furniture Factory, was a Super 8, and finally President Inn and Suites. The mattress and bedding were comfortable.
The spa/whirlpool/hot tub was green.

Overall, it was a pretty nice place to stay it was probably the nicest mattress I have slept on at a hotel of this category.

Its location was convenient; it had easy access from the road.
The hotel did not give me an exact dollar amount for the cost of my stay.

Ok, nothing spectacular, however very serviceable.

Pool and hot tub were filthy and sheets and towels were gross.

Great location, pool and hot tub dirty, couldn't let child use them, but room was clean. Had the thinnest old sheets with holes in them and towels that were thin and grey.

Reasonable rates and pleasant staff.
Room smelled of chlorine and mold.

The room we were given was vented into the indoor pool area and our room had a strong smell of chlorine and mold. Location was out of the main tourist area. Otherwise our stay was pleasant.

Pool area was no frills and run down.

No frills hotel with a run down feel. Continental breakfast was bare bones - juice, coffee, mini muffins and mini pastry. Pool area was not inviting. In driving around the area, wished we'd chosen the other hotel with pool that was listed at the same price point.

It was relatively clean.
It was advertised as new but obviously wasn't.

This hotel was not close to the tourist sites in Gettysburg. It was supposed to be a "brand new" motel but looked & smelled like it had been there for a while. It was kept clean. The kids were very disappointed that the pool closed early (9:30pm). We never got to swim because we were coming in too late after site seeing.
