The front desk looked at me as if I was from the moon when I presented you them with your confirmation. Very slow. The beer and food was overpriced.
Clean and convenient and close to affordable eateries. Also close to the turnpike, but not noisy.

Office and restaurants were beautiful, new England charm.
Our room was in a motor lodge type setting.

Historic portion is wonderful/great food. The motel style building needs updating.
Our room in the motel style area had tile missing in bathroom, miserable mattresses.
The Publick House is a wonderful place! The restaurant serves fabulous food. However, since we travel without dog, we're relegated to the motel style portion of this property which definitely could use updating. Having said that, we love having our dog with us and can put up with some shabby interiors.

It was decorated beautifully.
Since there are so many rooms, and the different buildings are separate, finding the room and the continental breakfast was a little difficult.

This hotel was clean and fairly convenient.
Motel-type facility. Somewhat distant from main building.
A clean, though older, motel facility run by a bed-and-breakfast hotel. No amenities - no in-room coffee, WiFi, etc.

Great bakery, x-large rooms, clean, and the hotel buildings were pretty historic.
Separate motor lodge which was dated but was of good quality, and the dark furnishings.
PH is a fine property with beautifully restored main buildings and popular for weddings, and special meals at the holidays. The bakery is top notch for muffins, etc. However, few know about the separate motor lodge at a remote part of the property with dated though very large rooms. The trails looked inviting and the pool looked great from the rooms. This is an affordable option for travelers looking to spend more time in the outdoors and sightseeing and not in your room. read more

It was quaint and clean and the restaurant was delightful!
That we could not stay longer!
The hotel was adorable and nestled in the center of Sturbridge. It was easy to find and the restaurant was fabulous and the bake shop was to die for. Very clean and the service was wonderful. It is not fancy but you felt like you were going back in time! Could not say enough nice things about the Publick House.
