The Quality Hotel Ottawa is located in the heart of downtown with convenient access to Highway 417. Considered to be The Hotel of the Byward Market, we are within walking distance to the Rideau Canal, Rideau Shopping Centre, Ottawa University, American Embassy, Parliament Buildings, Ottawa Congress Centre and over 100 restaurants, boutiques and cafes. At the hotel we provide complimentary services such as free wireless internet, free in room coffee, free local calls and a newspaper daily. Clean, comfortable.
24 hour a day road construction surrounds hotel.

Good location close to By ward Market and many restaurants. Nice room but incessant construction and traffic noise made stay unbearable. Stay away from this one for a couple months. Hotel caters to big bus tours of foreign visitors who mob common areas and facilities.

It is no easy to find the entrance of the parking, because of the street construction.
The room is facing wall.

Location is convenient and in a major street of downtown.

Parked underground, lots of dust and low ceiling pipes made it difficult to park. Building old and stairway to hotel didn't appear safe.

We stayed overnight and were pleased with the inside appearance, bed was quite comfortable, would stay there again.

Friendly accommodating staff and a good location.
Major construction on roadway and difficulty to find parking area. Staff did not mention this on phone when called to confirm.

We had a great stay at the Quality hotel. It was very clean and up-to-date with friendly staff who were very helpful and accommodating. As mentioned above, only downside was the construction on the roadway adjacent to the hotel. It took us some time to figure out how to access the parking lot.
