The pool and hot tub were closed, the free breakfast was free for a reason, and it is not a good thing.
It has been over 5 years since I stayed at this hotel and before that I went there yearly. Not sure why the quality went down. Staff was friendly, but the amenities.

Right next to the Colorado River with a walking path.
Hot tub doesn't open until late morning.
Nice rooms with kitchenette, refrigerator and microwave. Deck off the lobby next to the Colorado River. This room had a view of the river that is offset by the occasional train passing on the other side of the river. Double windows allows you to sleep undisturbed by the passing trains. Complementary breakfast was good but seating was limited with guests arriving in mass at 8 am. Will come back again and recommend this motel to my friends. read more

Access to local events. Hotel is a very historical building with lots of history.
Outside rooms were rather noisy (traffic, dogs, people) from street.

Room was large and clean and very conveniently located to the parking lot.
Staff in the morning was a little rude and unfriendly - maybe she needs to get some more sleep!
Better than your average highway motel. Easy access off of the highway but quiet. Ample breakfast. Room was clean and huge. Television didn't work but was not an issue to us. Room had both a refrigerator and a microwave.

It was clean and it offered continental breakfast and the staff was friendly.
The poor quality maintenance, it was done but not well done.
The VCR is a little out dated, it needs a DVD player. There was some work that had been done in the bathroom that was nasty to look at. The hotel was very clean and the staff was first rate.

River view-nice design of room.
Housekeeping at all hours of the day/night.
We enjoyed our stay-room was comfortable for two-river view was romantic when snowing. Loud housekeeping-they were vacuuming at about 7pm. Pool was good, staff was nice and attentive.

River view from room.
We liked everything!
We were really impressed with this hotel. Our room was very large with a really comfortable bed and a little kitchenette. The up close view of the Colorado river from our window was great. Super clean we loved our stay!

Away from town. Hot tub/pool. Deck by the river.
Liked that the hotel was away from town, but had free bus pick up to go into town. Staff was very accommodating/friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Especially enjoyed the deck overlooking the Colorado River and seeing the trains go by. It was a very relaxing stay.

The view from the hotel room was great!
The rooms in the hote needs to be upgraded.
The view was great, but the hotel room needed to be updated. The AC was noisy. The staff was extremely helpful and always courteous. The complimentary breakfast was very nice and they didn't just serve cereal, juice and bread; they had just about everything you could want. It was a little difficult to find without help, but otherwise, we were very happy with our stay.
