We arrived about 9 at night with an infant & children. We were not all that happy with the room, but it was late and we stayed. The fridge was set incorrectly, so the next day it froze our vegetables, milk etc. much of which had to be thrown out. The next night the pipe broke under the kitchen sink and although the repair man came quickly, it took awhile to fix and the noise woke the baby who then cried for over an hour. The next morning, the outlet in the bathroom didn't work, so no hairdryer, light etc. We decided to find another hotel at which point I asked if we could leave and not be charged at which they said yes. We waited for an hour for the plumber to fix our shower, delaying our bedtime. Debris was left in the bathroom after he left. The hotel would not refund us our money.

Again, we did not stay in the hotel much, just to sleep. The hotel was clean, well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed there the first and last night of our 5 days in Maine. When we arrived for our second stay, our room was not ready, so they upgraded us to another room. This was unexpected as I told them we were going to get something to eat and would not be back till later, but they went out of their way to make this upgrade. Very nice. read more

This hotel was "fair" nothing outstanding. I would not stay here again as there are several nicer hotels on the island. The fire alarm was the worst. If you took a shower and then opened the door from the bathroom the steam would set off the alarm that sounded all the alarms. This happened to someone everyday! It was terrible. For that reason alone I wouldn't stay here again.
