The Quality Inn at Colchester, VT is located just minutes from Burlington, VT Airport and home to the University of Vermont, as well as other Burlington colleges, beautiful Lake Champlain, Fletcher Allen Hospital, and many shopping centers and restaurants. Our spacious 113 rooms include In-room coffee makers and hairdryers, desks for our business travelers, and cable with movie channels in all rooms. Microwaves and refrigerators are available upon request, so are handicap accessible rooms. Please contact hotel directly to reserve pet friendly rooms. Pet Accommodation: 10.00/night per pet. The room reeked of smoke!

The room reeked of stale cigarettes. The walls were stained with old smoke. The rug was dirty. The staff wouldn't find us another room, even on the 2nd day.

Reasonable location (I was going to UVM).
Animal (pet) extra charge.

I like the Fairfield Inn and stay there quite often. I just try not to bring my dog. Motel 6 which is next door doesn't have the same policy. No extra charge, however Fairfield Inns rooms are far superior.

Convenience to interstate.
Bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat.

For a one-night stay, this hotel will suffice. While the rooms are clean, they are bare-bones, and there is no closet. There is a continental breakfast which features make your own waffles, a definite plus. On the downside, the beds are very uncomfortable, and the pillows are pretty flat and useless. Marriott should consider investing in some new bedding in their budget hotels.
