The hotel upgraded rooms to us when we complained about getting put in a smoking room we didn't request.
We were put into a smoking room initially, moved to another room, we could here the
TV in the next room like we were there, doors slamming late.
I'll put it this way. I won't be staying here again. The hotel staff was awesome for moving us out of a smoking room and to an upgraded room. That room was nicer looking, but had little if any sound insulation. We could here the
TV plain as day in the next room along with their conversations. Plus it seemed like doors were slammed all night long.

Large room. Fireplace. Clean. Balcony over stream.
Outside walkway and stairs in need of paint, or repair.
I was concerned at first when walking to my room because the walkway and outside of building looked in need of repair and paint but the room itself was much nicer than I expected. Very large with microwave, fridge, safe, and gas fireplace. Nice balcony that overlooked a bubbling stream. Even though the room was next to a restaurant's vent and smelled of fried food and made a loud noise, when you were in the room you could not smell it or hear it. The motel was back from the road but close to almost everything. I would stay here again. read more

The staff was very friendly.
The initial room we received was unacceptable.
Good value for the money. Excellent location on par with other Gatlinburg Motels.

Convenient location near National Park.
Ants in the bathroom.
Hotel could have been cleaner. Slight mold and ants in the bathroom. However, hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Clean and friendly with a great location.
A bit expensive but it is downtown.
Loved it! The location was perfect for walking, which is important as the traffic downtown is horrible. The room was spacious and clean if a bit used looking. The staff was very cool, if you are out late have a conversation with Van the night manager, he was helpful with locations of places locals frequent to eat and drink.

They had great showers!! Lots of hot water and pressure.
Could have been a bit cleaner.
The hotel was in a good location, but a little hard to find. It was near the end of the main strip though and was quieter than several other locations. It wasn't what I would call dirty, but could use a bit of a clean up. We enjoyed our stay.

Room was always cleaned and friendly staff.
Outside was little dated and worn.
Great location, within walking distance of everything! Outside of the hotel is a little old and worn looking including hotel room carpet, but room was clean and staff was friendly. Would stay there again if nothing else just for the convenience of walking distance to everything.

Location to downtown Gatlinburg, hotel was right next to food, shops and entertainment.
Nothing comes to mind.
Courteous staff and small but adequate breakfast area to get basics to eat, rooms were clean and I liked the choice of bedding (looked like the bedspreads were made of a fabric that might get washed a little more often. Great location for walking the downtown Gatlinburg strip.
