The check-in was professional and the room was dated, but very clean. We had a very late check-in and the kids fell asleep almost instantly. We were in room 243 on the second floor. There were lots of late might party people coming and going. Tolerable. However, what was not -was the high pitched hum emanating from somewhere with in the room. Every time the air conditioning cycled off you could here it. We didn't notice it until the TV was turned off. It was almost as if your ears were ringing. It drove me crazy! Every time I stepped out side it was gone -it ended up waking up my kids intermittently and even though I was exhausted I was unable to fall asleep until way after 4 am. I finally had to put on my headphones for my i Pod to block out the sound! I didn't ask for a different room because it is too hard to switch rooms in the middle of the night with 2 children in tow. Never again will I stay at that hotel for any reason- I would've gotten a better night's sleep if I had slept in my car. read more

Quiet.
Old, not modernized.

This is a motel with brick walls inside and old bathroom fixtures. Expect clean but not special.

Location.
Water pressure in sink. Kept getting our clothes wet.

Excellent miles from D.C. On the bus line.

The room was stifling (78 degrees), and the hotel staff was not helpful in fixing the problem.

Not a good place to stay between the seasons, as there is no temperature control. It's either the heat or the AC on, but you have no control. Our room was 78 degrees and it was stifling. We finally had to sleep with the window open (which was not particularly good on sinuses and small children with breathing problems) to get some air in the room. The hotel staff did not seem too concerned with our dilemma. read more

The hotel was close to the Metro station. We took the Metro into D.C.
The cooling system did not work and the temperature in the room reached 80 degrees.

The hotel was fine and served our purposes. It was close to the Metro station and offered free Wi-Fi internet services. Unfortunately, our cooling system did not work and the temperature in our room reached 80 degrees, which is WAY too hot for us. We would have opened the window, but there was no screen and nothing to stop someone from coming into the room via the window (we were on the ground floor). Also, the door lock was very loose and not overly secure. read more

Pool was nice.
Pool was outdoors and had odd hours.

This is more like a motel. The pool is outdoors and though it was a nice pool, the hours were limited.

Very clean. Convenient location.
Thin walls and a bit noisy.

Overall, a pleasant stay. I would certainly use this facility again.
