Quality Inn Somerset

We arrived to a power outage. There was no one from management there to handle the problem and he did not come back to help. A maintenance man was trying to do everything - help at the front desk, check the rooms, call public service, etc. He was nice enough to let us into a room and provide a flashlight for us after 1/2 hour in complete darkness. The next day the management did not offer us any compensation. I was traveling with my 93 year old mother. It was extremely hot and very uncomfortable. No frills here. Furnishings and phones were dated but this was offset by the attentive staff and overall cleanliness of the rooms. Complimentary breakfast was not stellar but adequate. Not a place to spend a honeymoon, but for a business traveler or someone who needs a break from the road. This hotel is an excellent value.

Staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel is clean and comfortable. The exercise facility is loaded with weight equipment, but nothing for aerobic (i.e. treadmills, stair climbers, etc). While the location is easy to see on Easton Avenue, getting to the location when traveling westbound is very difficult. It took 3 tries before I figured out the correct exit/path.
