The room was nice and the staff was friendly.
The noise, the bugs, and the air conditioning.
The hotel over all was a good place to stay considering what I wanted the hotel for (which was a place to sleep) and the price. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable and a major plus was the refrigerator that was a good size. The hotel was also located near a good amount of restaurants, a Wal-Mart and a grocery store. It was also within a short drive to the beach, which was a big plus. There were three things that I did not completely like about the hotel though. The walls weren't very thick and there was a great deal of noise out on the main road. This hotel is located on a pretty busy road. Once it got late though it did quite down, but until that point I could hear the traffic and the people who had their music turned up way too loud in their cars. The air conditioner seemed to be an older model and could not get the room as cold as I would have liked it. It was also very loud and made a lot of noise turning off and on. I ran across more than one roach in my room, which leads me to believe they have a roach problem. I'm tidy person and didn't leave food lying around, but that didn't seem to stop them from coming into my room. read more

Rooms ready for early check-in and staff.
Not enough towels and wash cloths, had to contact front desk.
I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. The staff was terrific. The pool area was clean, actually for the traffic area, I was surprise just how quiet it was in the rooms. The staff gave us good directions to sites the we could take the children for entertainment (The aquarium and beach area). We truly enjoyed this long weekend trip. Thanks to all at the Quality Inn, Wilmington NC. read more

Micro and fridge.
Breakfast.
OK for the price, I would spend more and stay somewhere else on my next trip. Breakfast was poor, waffle irons didn't work, not enough food for guest, breakfast staff had attitude.
