The staff was friendly and helpful and I was glad they had breakfast included.
My first room smelled of long-standing urine. It is difficult to get to and out of.
I think the hotel should provide a map of each room with a route from the lobby to your specific room. It's easy to get turned around in the maze of halls and possible exits. The room could use a deep-cleaning vacuuming, but the bed was comfortable enough. The breakfast area is way too tight for the amount of people trying to get something to eat or drink in the morning. If the space was set up more conducive to foot traffic, that would be much better. read more

Complimentary shuttle service to/from airport and to/from subway.
Odor in guest room.
Overall, for the star rating, I think this hotel is an excellent choice, particularly because of the friendliness of the staff, the wonderful complimentary breakfast, and the complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport and subway station.

It was nice and quiet.
The breakfast room was packed with people and we could barely get a cup of coffee in the morning no matter what time we showed up.
It was nice and clean and quiet. I would recommend it.

Pretty inexpensive, even though it wasn't worth what we paid. The free WiFi.
The walls were thin, so the room was loud.
The hotel was needed many updates. The staff was not helpful, when our room was wrong. We were supposed to have a queen bed, and there were two double beds. The walls were thin, so it was very loud at night. The alarm clock was broken and the shower head was very low in the shower. I'm glad we only stayed there one night.

Continental breakfast. Fridge and M/W in room.
Impossible shuttle service. Very poor for users of public transit.
I wanted to like this hotel. The room was nice and had a fridge and M/W. The breakfast was good. But if you don't have a car, the location is impractical. The hotel has an impossible shuttle service and your wait for pickup at the T station can be up to an hour. Or you can take a cab. Cab fare runs about $10 each time you go to/from the T station. If you're driving, I think this place is fine. But if you want to use public transit pay more money and stay somewhere else.
Warning for Priceline users: don't select South Boston if you are naming your own price and want a hotel near public transit. You might get this hotel. read more

Price.
Confusing layout.
The building layout was very confusing and it took at least 10 minutes searching to find the room. None of the panels at the top of the stairs from the lobby had the room number on them. The hotel is on a pretty dangerously laid-out road and far from a T stop but shuttle service is very good.
