When I checked in they gave a key to a room that someone else was already in. I opened the door and walked in on another hotel guest. Also the hotel was a little bit of a party zone the night was a little crazy with drunk fools running around the hotel.

Nothing well ok. It did have a fireplace.
Dirty. The carpet was actually sticky. I had to wear sandals to go to the bathroom.

I've done enough.

way too small.

Everything was clean and accommodating, the armoir which housed the TV was only a foot away from the bed, if they put in a flat screen, the room would have appeared much bigger.

I really liked the room.
There was 1 staff member that was rude.

This is a clean, centrally located, and overall great place to stay. I would absolutely go back again.

The room was well-cleaned and maintained for a smaller hotel.
The walls were a bit thin, making it somewhat easy to hear neighbors, if they were loud.

This was an excellent moderate hotel, well-cleaned and maintained, ample amenities in the room, along with free high-speed internet and free continental breakfasts. It was fairly close to everything of interest in the area, with just a short drive to Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row - about 5 minutes, tops. The only minor inconvenience was that the walls were a little thin, and my girlfriend and I had some noisy neighbors on one side that woke us up around 4:00 am both nights we stayed. But for that small irritation, this hotel far exceeded my expectations. I really thought that it would be much more of a hole-in-the-wall little hotel than it was. read more

Great location. Awesome shower!
Thin walls! And Wi-Fi went down over the weekend and was not fixed.

Comfy bed, great shower, nice fireplace. But the walls are very thin, and you can hear everything. Our friends had a 1-year-old child in a room two doors down, and we could hear his crying from our room with the doors closed. The hotel also advertised free Wi-Fi. But the service dropped out Saturday night, and wasn't restored by Monday morning when we left. The front desk's idea of helping was to say "Here. Call the help line." read more

Older construction, thin walls, noisy.

We had the bottom floor of a two story motel. Floors were creaky and sound came through clearly. The couple above us came in at 11:30 pm and stayed up until 2:00 am. Constant walking around which came through clearly to us in the room below (as thuds and creaks). As I'm a light sleeper, this meant I did not get much sleep that night. I would not recommend this hotel unless the guest(s) are sound sleepers or on the top floor. read more

Hotel staff was very helpful in all my requests. It had a ref/microwave and coffee pot in the room.
The pool was not heated. We used it two days that we were there and both days it was very cold.

I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

Location, friendliness of staff.
1. Parking is a nightmare. 2. Shower-tub combo drain was inoperable, making baths very difficult.

Excellent location for visits to Monterey or for immediate return to hwy 1. Very friendly and efficient staff.

Great location, huge room, great amenities.
Nothing.

What a great room especially close to downtown Monterrey and Carmel. Great amenities in the room. Would stay back here in a heart beat.
