Very friendly and helpful desk clerk.
Overpowering smell of air freshener in room.

Despite poor previous reviews of the room, we were pleased with our overall experience. We wouldn't have a problem staying there again.

Not much, location was convenient, they switched our room willingly and easily but 2nd room wasn't much better.
Filthy, smelled bad, roaches in the rooms, soiled sheets when we arrived.

Lobby looks great, do not be deceived. The rooms are filthy, the carpets are badly stained. The rooms smell of body odor and I was in three of the rooms and they were all the same. The sheets were soiled when we arrived. The towels are of very poor quality and they smell bad - not fully clean. My wife found dead roached under her pillow. This was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in my neighbors were traveling with us and had a separate room. They were so disgusted they left the hotel and stayed with some friend they knew in the area - about 30 minutes away. read more

The location was perfect for me.
The room was filthy and the staff was rude. I will never stay there again.

See answer to number 14' if I worked for your company I'd take this hotel off my list of hotels for Manchester because I was seriously disappointed with it and had probably the worst experience ever at a hotel there. ugh, I ended up canceling my reservations for the rest of the stay and switched hotels.

It was old and not very clean.

It was obviously an old hotel. The bathroom door would not close all the way and the room was not very clean (carpet!) It was cheap so you can put up with a little of this though.
