The size of the room.
No elevator outside unsupervised entrance to the hotel rooms very unsafe for a single mom.
There was no elevator. The hallways were open to the outside. No security to enter outer hallways. I was on the second floor with very small children. Was very scary to come to at night with them because there was open access to the rooms.

The staff were friendly -the only redeeming part of the hotel.
Stained carpets, shabby decor, poorly patched walls, odor, the doors were left open at the entrance -no security.
I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. I have stayed at several Ramadas, and have always loved them. When I scheduled through Priceline, I was told to request the type of bed I wanted when we got there. When I arrived, there were exactly 2 cars in the lot, and the staff told me that I had reserved a room with 2 double beds. I said I wanted a king size bed, and was told there were none available. The carpets were stained, the curtains dingy and faded, the whole place had a foul odor, the bathrooms were so small that you had absolutely no room - it was like a restroom on an airplane! The room we stayed in had three different wallpaper boarders, and had patches all over the room. The wood on the dresser was scratched and dented - showing the bare wood underneath. The remote control didn't work for the TV, there was no ability to rent a movie from your room, and the vending machines were 97% empty! Never again! Would not recommend. read more

Ease access for my workshops.
I would like to have had a few more items in the fitness room.
Older hotel well maintained and clean. The complementary breakfast was good and the staff very helpful.

Pleasant staff.
Location is terrible.
This hotel is not in a pleasant part of town. Additionally, none of the doors to the outside (hallways, lobby, etc) are locked so anyone is able to get inside, undermining any added security of room doors that open to the inside. Features include an old-fashioned key system (not cards), tiny bathrooms, old outdated furniture and decorations. The continental breakfast is fairly average, and the lobby appears to have been renovated more recently than my room. There was a stain on the wallpaper in my bathroom. read more

Much better than the reviews I read.
When I read the reviews, I was very apprehensive about staying there. What a pleasant surprise it was to find wonderful beds, pillows, clean baths, wonderful shower, and lovely breakfast room. Although it was an older motel, it was nice.
