Ramada - Van Horn, TX is conveniently located halfway between El Paso and Midland, Texas, at Exit 138, Golf Course Drive in Van Horn, at the crossroads of the historic Old Spanish Trail through Texas. Today this area is the crossroads of the Texas Mountain Trail. The hotel provides a complimentary Full American breakfast each morning that is served from 6AM until 9:30 AM. It is half way between Sierra Vista AZ and San Antonio.
The upkeep was poor.

They had to rekey my room more than 8 times, rather than fix the problem, which was clearly long term by the reaction of the staff. The breakfast was skimpy and quite a few extension cords were out in view. The TV was ancient and on a hanging extension cord on a table in the dining room. The dining room staff was very good, the problems were clearly with the owner who took cheapie short cuts to repairs which were also evident in the rooms. It was clean however and acceptable for the remote location. Do not expect Ramada standards when you stay there. But don't be afraid to stay either. read more
