Hotel Guest Reviews of the Rancho Las Palmas
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.February 8, 2010

Overall the hotel was beautiful and we felt like we were staying in a high level resort. The rooms available to us were lower status rooms and in the far corners of the resort ours looked directly at a tree leaning up against our balcony. The resort was basically empty when we stayed there and still we we felt a bit like second class vacationers. Unfortunate for such a beautiful resort.

We loved everything about the hotel. It is well kept and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We picked this hotel mainly because of the pool and water play area, and we loved it. We definitely recommend this hotel to other families and will return again.

We had a fabulous time at this hotel. My family and I enjoyed the pool the most. I have 2 young kids and they both had a blast. I can't comment on the restaurants as I ate out for all of our meals. The resort is close to so many amenities. Unfortunately, as great as the pool is, there just isn't enough chairs to accommodate everyone. Get there early!

I think if the a/c was fixed and after the pool and room remodel we'd give this hotel a second chance. The overall look and feel of the hotel was nice but I think we just picked the wrong time to go. It's definitely not "Resort" quality but I would say it's a nice facility.

I had requested a room with two double beds. When I checked in nothing was said but when I got to my room it had a king bed. I called the front desk and they said that there were no doubles left but if someone canceled their reservations and one became available they would let me know. I just wondered how they determined who got the doubles since I had already checked in and they were saving doubles for people who hadn't even checked in yet. They did not apologize for this error at all. In all my years of travel I have never had this happen. I was traveling with a friend and we had to share a bed. ...
