Outdoor pool was nice.
Room had a funny smell.

Also - the room smelled like a hair salon. Overall, the hotel was clean, but nothing spectacular.

Didn't really like anything about this hotel.
The hotel room/common areas were dirty and smelly. Beds were uncomfortable, walls were thin.

I was traveling with 7 people, 3 adults and 4 children. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, with or without children. The hotel was in a bad area. The beds were uncomfortable. The walls were thin so conversations in the hall and adjoining rooms could easily be heard. The rooms and common areas were not clean. The hotel had a funky smell. The only possible positive note is that the front desk staff was moderately helpful. read more

It was very inexpensive.
Clerk was rude chewing gum and popping it while she checked us in.

The staff was very rude. The rooms them selves were not filthy they were just worn linens seemed to be old and worn just not a place I would ever stay knowingly. Birds above door ways pooping on you as you walked in and out. No one at the front desk at night place seemed abandoned. Parking lot shared with burger king. Just not a real nice place was not worth what it cost to stay and would not send anyone I knew to stay there. read more

Staff was very helpful, from recommending restaurants to extending our stay.
Breakfast was the exact same food options every day.

We were very pleased with the Days Inn. It was close to several restaurants, a grocery store, and drug stores. Also, minutes from the major highways leading to major attractions. We wished there was a fridge in the room but were very happy overall.

Clean.
Dishonest staff.

Thought is was a nice place until my son's billfold disappeared and then reappeared in the hotel's safe. Two different stories someone was not being honest with us.

Friendly staff.
Continental breakfast.

Overall pleasant, the friendly staff makes up for a lot of the shortcomings.

Clean and comfortable. No major inconveniences.
Pool wasn't available and the continental breakfast was a little skimpy.

Overall, the location is great. It's very easy to get to Rushmore and other attractions from the hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodations were comfortable. I would stay here again, especially for the price.
