The Days Inn of Rawlins conveniently located midway between Cheyenne and Rock Springs at exit 215 on I-80. Built with the traveler in mind, we have excellent access for East or West travel and we are located at the Highway 287 interchange - the gateway to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, 250 miles. A comfortable days drive from Rapid City, Salt Lake City or Denver. Abundant wildlife, panoramic vistas and vast uninterrupted miles of countryside make Rawlins, elevation 6,755 feet and south-central Wyoming unique. We pride ourselves in our old fashioned western hospitality. Pool is currently under construction. read more

The front staff.
It was not competitive, many more alternatives in town.

Much about the hotel was worn down, poorly maintained or dirty (curtains very dusty, corners of floor dirty, musty, moldy shower curtain, poorly done shower area repairs, dirty 1/4" dusty vents, continental breakfast very sparsely stocked and some old and cracked eggs). The entrance parking lot areas were covered in dirt and sand.

Restaurant was closed for an extended period (week).

They have had oilfield workers using the rooms the recliner had black oil or grease stains all over it the bathroom had toothpaste all over the sink. The carpet also was very dirty.
