I asked and received a king bed - very comfortable. It's an older style hotel that is made up of two stored buildings. The walls are concrete - so nice not to hear the neighbors. It's beside a freeway but that noise is constant and not offensive. Every room has a balcony and fridge and is quite roomy. The bathroom has a high shower and lots of pressure - even granite counter tops. There's lots of above ground parking, and it's free. I liked that I could carry my own bags and park my own car. The front desk and restaurant is reached by walking through a courtyard that must be beautiful when the Rhodes are blooming. There's no elevator and quite a few stairs involved.

This is a very old property that has not been adequately updated over the years. May have been a level 3 back in the 60's but not today. I had to contact a tech support company to get internet access, which took about an hour. Also, it was very cold during my visit, and the heater did not work.

Clean rooms and easy to get to. Staff allowed us to check in 7 hours early so we were very lucky and thankful. However, the building is quite old and the rooms aren't overly appealing as they have old TVs but still the beds are pretty good.
