Overwhelming smoke stench.

The motel is average, the casino OK, but the hallways to the rooms are connected to the casino and you either have to love stale smoke, or be very good at holding your breath. I will not stay here again. Most casinos can exchange stale air and make the areas acceptable. Not this Red Lion!

Good location, very nice room.
The food in the restaurant was bad.

Very fast check in, the parking was terrible, the room that we had was very nice, I did not like the restaurant at all. I would stay there again but go somewhere else to eat.

It was pet friendly.
Staff was not friendly.

The front desk night person was not very friendly but the day person was great. The room was nice, it was clean and pet friendly. The cleaning staff was very friendly. The restaurant was just ok the restaurant staff was more in to talking to each other and the regular guest than helping others.

The fact that there was only one restaurant.

Our stay was comfortable. The hotel only had one restaurant (buffet)? Would have like another choice of eatery without leaving the casino.

It did not have a fridge. Not many cable channels.

I could find it right away, and did not have a hassle in check in.
Some construction going on.

It's great for a short overnight stay. Loose slots, good food and a very clean hotel despite all the construction.
