Room was recently remodeled and nicely appointed and very clean.
The hotel was right next to the freeway and rooms were not sound proof.
The room was very current, comfortable and clean. The exterior is very run down looking and the grounds are mostly parking lots.

Close to Autzen Stadium and The University of Oregon.
Insufficient parking and poor night security.
The red lion - Eugene is more of a motel than a hotel. The beds are soft, but somewhat lumpy, the interior is dated, the parking spaces few and cramped. This is not a family-friendly vacation resort, but it works great for duck games and weekend events in the area. Full fee is far overpriced, and rates should not exceed double digits.

The interiors had been recently redone. The bed linens, walls, and overall decor was nice.
Outdoor hallways, tons of construction! General lack of safe feeling akin to a 3* hotel.
I would best classify this hotel as a 2.5, and not the 3. Several features of a standard 3* were not met. The corridors were outside. The layout was that of a motel. All doors could be accessed directly by the outside. There was not a lot of security on the patio doors. The interior was nice, and set it above a 2* motor inn, but the overall layout can not make this a 3*.

Convenient location, close to restuarants and shopping.
Outside doors, and next to freeway exit.
The room was clean and comfortable with a microwave and fridge. Not a large room, but completely adequate for us. We were traveling a long distance and wanted someplace to spend the night and relax.

Rooms were nice/clean. Shuttle service delivered.
Got wet moving from room to front desk - no way to stay dry in rain.
It is an average hotel found in a business section of Eugene, not too far from campus. I stayed because of their shuttle to the airport - worked great. For a clean, average hotel, this is a keeper.

Lost my cell phone and had to make a couple of calls from the room - way expensive! Found my cell.
