From the room to the lobby to the clerk this place is always nice.
They don't have a on staff.

We normally get this place on a Cedar Rapids, Iowa hotel and its always fabulous.

Neat and clean, great location close to the highway.
Desk staff were officious and unfriendly.

Due to unexpected family emergency we needed additional space on short notice. We asked the hotel staff for assistance and we sorely disappointed by their attitude and lack of help. We lodged an immediate complaint with Marriott Corporate offices. We will never stay in this hotel again.

I love the comfortable bed and pillow and breakfasts.
When we checked in the gentleman behind the counter had allotted of trouble checking us in. Caused long delay late at night.

I love this hotel. We come to Cedar Rapids quite often and have enjoyed our stay each time. The rooms are clean and quite and the beds are comfortable. The breakfasts are wonderful!

Enjoyed breakfast.
Check-in took over 30 min.

After waiting for the manager to drive from her home to check us in, we were disgusted to find the toilet in our room hadn't been flushed for days resulting in a horrible stench.

Bed was comfortable.
Carpet blood-stained, only one door out, noisy.

For economy, this hotel is okay. It needs to be more attentive to bathroom space. But it is okay for an overnight stay. Most annoying was noise from constant running halls on floor above us.

The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great and the staff was great!
I liked everything.

We have never stayed in a Fairfield before. We found the accommodations to be excellent for our needs. Thank you.

Debbie at the front desk, internet access, beer vending machine.
Crabby breakfast lady, smoking room when n/s requested, noisy.

Overall our stay was fine, but I probably wouldn't go back. The place is noisy, not just the sounds of other guests but lots of mechanical and other "building" sounds. The front desk seemed understaffed and the lady who took care of the breakfast room was very grouchy. The place was full of kids and parents for the state volleyball tourney. I think they could have been better prepared for the crowd. When we initially got to our room the fridge contained "leftovers" from a previous guest's dining.
