No nearby restaurants.

Right off highway and convenient. Need to drive at least 5 miles to decent restaurants (not Hooters). Rooms were clean.

I would not recommend this hotel. The front counter person was not friendly and had no knowledge about the hotel, local areas, amenities, etc.

Comfortable, friendly staff and good coffee.
I would have liked a larger work area for my computer.

Overall I found the hotel an excellent place to stay. The only thing I would like to see is an iron and iron board, coffee maker and a little larger work area for my computer. Also, my room was on the 2nd floor and it was difficult getting my luggage up the stairs. A ramp of some sort would be nice to have so customers could roll their baggage up the ramp.

The rooms were small but well-configured - a good use of space. And they were very clean.
I couldn't find the ice machine!

This hotel is an economy. Old-style outside stairs access to upper floors. The rooms were recently remodeled, nothing fancy but very good use of space with a desk area and very easy to use WiFi services, for free. The side away from the highway was very quiet, even though it is right next to the freeway. It's nothing fancy, but if you want to stay near Sacramento with easy auto access to freeways and sights for a great price, it's the ticket. read more

Dirty pool and TV did not work.

This hotel was very conveniently located. The value was great. Rooms were very clean and quiet. The pool was a little dirty and not heated. The TV in my first room didn't work and the staff quickly gave me another room without questions. I would recommend this hotel to a business traveler or a family on couple or single person for leisure travel. The hotel could be in a better location, it's next to a strip mall and there's a lot of traffic but it's still a very nice and clean hotel. read more

No elevator, no deadbolt on flimsy door.

Front desk personnel in the evening abrupt, not interested in answering questions. Pool was nice.

There are quite a lot of restaurants nearby in walking distance.
The staff did not get the taxi for me. I had to make the call myself.

I thought it was a very nice hotel and enjoyed staying there.
Their computer for check out goes down a lot.

The hotel staff was friendly and I was amazed that the hotel was so nice to stay at. If the computer system is fixed so it is able to give out going travelers their receipts it would be great.

No conditioner or hair dryer in the room.

When attempting to check out, it too 10 minutes for someone to respond to my request for help. I was yelling in the lobby for help. Amazing. There is no provision to deliver the hair dryer to your room for you.
