Lobby was nicely decorated. Staff was excellent!
Could use a little redecorating in rooms. Then it would be at least a 4 star.

It was definitely worth the money. It had a full kitchen as far as stove and fridge. The room decor could be upgraded. Room was large. It was clean. Staff was excellent!! I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Location convenient to downtown, easy parking, handy to have a kitchenette.
It was a nice hotel, but a bit of a let-down because it did not look like a 3-star hotel.

Good food, historic, friendly folks.
It was a well kept but very old structure.

I did not feel it met the star level. In other words it should have been a little better price point. However, the stay was pleasant and the restaurant was very enjoyable. The room had a kitchen, which if someone were staying for a week would greatly increase the desirability of the facility.

Spacious rooms.
It was a bit stinky.

The hotel was nice overall, but is outdated, and needs new carpet due to the smell, other than that the rooms were large, and you don't feel cramped, they also could use pay per view, because the selection of channel's is a bit poor. And they are misleading to say they have Wi-Fi, as my wireless device could not pick up a signal for more than 3 seconds. You have full and complete signal for as long as I like at the Holiday Inn. read more

The hotel was quite old but it was clean, nice and actually brought back some memories seeing the older stove in the room. The front desk was very good, physically confirming a clean room before it was assigned saving time for me. If I were to stay longer I would have used the kitchenette and will look here first the next trip to Fairbanks.

Great room, well above the room I bid on.
Disruptive, noisy guests.

Great room, clean. Common areas need more attention. Free breakfast, but you get what you pay for.

Check in was fast.
The room was didn't just need an update, it needed to be set on fire..

Rooms were very old, bed was too soft, there was no view, and the restaurant closed 30 minutes early.
