Hotel Guest Reviews of the Corona Opera Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Extremely helpful and pleasant staff.
Smallish rooms, but when in Paris who much cares?

Good location, easy Metro access, useful services nearby, small but very clean rooms. I thought the front desk staff was extraordinary - one even went out to buy an electrical adapter for me to use; easy walking distance to the "good parts" of Paris. In a short road with many other small touristic hotels.

Proximity to underground, and the friendliness of staff.
The bedspread was old, worn and with cigarette holes. The room was spartan but this bedspread made it look unkempt even tho everything was clean.

Clean but could use new bedding. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel was close to transportation. Fairly quiet.

The location was good, and the room, though unexciting, was suitable.
The tub was a bit moldy. Otherwise, though, the room was clean. Internet is too expensive.

I've read other reviews in which people expressed concern over the approach to the hotel, saying that it was at the end of a dark alley. However, the entire alley is lined with similar hotels, so, at least to me, there was nothing threatening about the approach to the hotel. As with all European hotels, the rooms are small by American standards. This isn't something unusual about this particular hotel - the rooms are the normal size for a Parisian hotel. I was expecting this to be true, so I wasn't disappointed by the small rooms. The decor is okay - nothing to get excited about, but not offensively awful either.Overall, the location is decent (though I found the cafes in this area are unusually expensive), the hotel is nice for the price that I got, and I would have no hesitation in coming back. ...read more

The staff was very helpful especially since we didn't speak the language. Room had everything we needed.
The price for the breakfast was a bit high for what you got.

Overall no complaints. Not somewhere to have honeymoon but for busy tourists if was nice, clean and in a good location.

Location, quiet street.
Small elevator.

Heat was off at night - could not determine if this was by design or a failure of equipment. When I called down to reception at 3:00 am, they brought a plug in heater within a minute.
