Corona Opera Hotel

Good location, easy Metro access, useful services nearby, small but very clean rooms. I thought the front desk staff was extraordinary - one even went out to buy an electrical adapter for me to use; easy walking distance to the "good parts" of Paris. In a short road with many other small touristic hotels.

Clean but could use new bedding. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel was close to transportation. Fairly quiet.

I've read other reviews in which people expressed concern over the approach to the hotel, saying that it was at the end of a dark alley. However, the entire alley is lined with similar hotels, so, at least to me, there was nothing threatening about the approach to the hotel. As with all European hotels, the rooms are small by American standards. This isn't something unusual about this particular hotel - the rooms are the normal size for a Parisian hotel. I was expecting this to be true, so I wasn't disappointed by the small rooms. Look at the pictures on their website and think Photoshop.

Overall no complaints. Not somewhere to have honeymoon but for busy tourists if was nice, clean and in a good location.

Heat was off at night - could not determine if this was by design or a failure of equipment. When I called down to reception at 3:00 am, they brought a plug in heater within a minute.
