Erudite excursionists say this "superb" place "lives up to its name" since it's "like staying in an art gallery": installations (including "Chihuly glass") adorn "the rooms, lobby and restaurant, and there's a sculpture garden inside"; the "ideal location" in the Warehouse District and the on-site Creole seafooder, La Côte Brasserie, are further reasons why this chainster comes "highly recommended."

Bed, towels, spacious room, lobby, decor, paintings, drinks, food, staff, guests and absolutely amazing.

This was the best hotel my wife and I have ever stayed at and we always stay in Marriott hotels when we travel. This hotel had everything you could ever want in a hotel, cleanliness, spacious rooms, beautiful decorated interior and fabulous drinks at the bar not to mention a rooftop pool where you could enjoy the sights of New Orleans without the hassle of a crowd.

Spotless property, huge rooms!
High parking prices, charge for internet connection.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again. From the friendly and helpful staff to the huge and spotless rooms, this hotel gets an almost perfect 10 score from me. The only drawbacks were the expensive parking fee ($28/day) and charges for internet usage. For a property of this caliber, free wifi should be a given.

The art and entry is beautiful.

The hotel is beautiful, and makes a great impression as you enter. The rooms are nicely appointed. The location is a bit from the the French Quarter, but still safe, quiet and very upscale.

Very attractive room.
They did not allow pets, $28 per day parking.

Very friendly staff and gorgeous rooms. They did their best to accommodate my needs. Not the most convenient if you are driving as parking is a problem.

Location and atmosphere.
Air did not work, ants in room, waited forever at bar to get a drink. No one ever helped me.

Very nice hotel but air conditioning in room did not work properly. Hot! Ants in room. Went to bar for a drink and could never get waited on. No one behind the bar! Could not find bar tender. Desk clerk did not speak very good English.
