The hotel had the feel of a modern art gallery - there was very interesting art everywhere.
The staff was NOT friendly. This was a small hotel and I spent 3 nights but there was no familiarity with the staff.
The hotel is very attractive but the amenities are lacking. The room had no frig or mini bar, there was no morning paper and parking cost $28 per night. The rooftop pool would be cool if it wasn't filled with bugs. I used room service for breakfast - the service was good as was the coffee. The front desk staff was professional but NOT friendly.

I like the ambiance.
No free parking, but this is standard for New Orleans.
The pool was on the roof with comfortable poolside seating. The only downside to the pool was it was rather small, only four feet deep, and they was very limited shade. The hot tub on the roof was comfortable, and fitness center was 4 star quality. Valet parking is $28 per night. The lobby area is very appealing and the entire hotel is very clean.

Good location, very clean.
Nothing-- Loved it.
Just a few blocks from everything in downtown. 1 block from Emerils, 4 blocks from convention center, 6 blocks from French Quarter and Riverfront and St Charles streetcar lines. You don't need a car for anything.
