The pool.
Incompetent staff.

The hotel Itself is a Nice hotel being in Belgium. We have visited Many hotels around Belgium, and I would prefer the American style ones then the European ones as they tend to be cleaner, more modern, etc. The staff however was very incompetent and I had to ask about 10 different times for them to do the same thing over because they kept getting my bill wrong.

It was a very nice standard Marriott the same quality and size you would find in the USA.
The location was very close to the EU. However for a tourist the location was very poor.

Standard American hotel with big rooms and bland decor. However for a tourist this hotel is to far away from the old section of town.

Very clean American-style hotel. Close to Brussels-Luxembourg train station.
Everything from food to Internet was extra and very expensive.

The hotel was very nice inside and clean. The location, however, is not great for tourists about a 20-25 minutes walk from the Grand Place, which is a lot after you have been walking all day. When my fiancée and I arrived at the hotel, they only had twins left. We inquired the next day, but there were still no doubles available unless we wanted to pay extra for a club room. We were there for 4 days total but never got a double room. The other downside was that all the extras were extremely expensive for Internet an hour, even a cappuccino at the bar!

Efficient, friendly and flexible service.
Pool is a little short for a serious swimmer - but then almost all hotels are the same!

I arrived early (09:00) and yet they sorted me out with a room immediately. My gold membership gave me an upgrade to have access to the club level which provided a very good breakfast and early evening drinks/snacks. It is very convenient to the heart of the city, 2 minutes walk from the Parliament.
