The staff was awesome and very helpful!
Some weird marketing idea to promote their bar, involving a post-it note in our room, non smoking hotel.

The minute we arrived at the hotel I was impressed. We arrived at 1am and the doorman working during this time was very helpful and friendly. Told us about parking and was very knowledgeable. The front desk was also very accommodating. Overall, this was one of the best hotel staffs I've encountered. I didn't like the marketing ploy, where they had our maid put a post-it not on our bathroom mirror stating, you looked great, now let's drink at. Whatever the name of the bar was downstairs. Whoever came up with that idea to promote their bar needs to find another approach. Quite frankly, I was creped out when my boyfriend and I come back into our room in the afternoon from shopping, and I see a random post it there. I started freaking out about who was in our room other than the maid. Other than this incident, the hotel was nicely decorated, the staff was awesome, the rooms were nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. We also had a great view of downtown. read more

It was very elegant.
There were no bathrooms in the lobby, which was badly needed before check-in.

It was very upscale and was in an excellent location. There was plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

The location was excellent for the Chicago Theatre.

Hotel was great. The room was very nicely done and the bathroom was sparkling. Best thing about the room, you can regulate the flow of the water, very uncommon in hotels today.

The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious and had everything we needed.
I couldn't use the refrigerator unless I wanted to purchase items in it. Nothing was complimentary.

I stayed here for two nights - very nice hotel with large rooms. My room was on a bad side however - it was facing an "L" track which meant that we heard the train going by pretty constantly. I slept really hard at night though - the bed was very comfy. I suggest you ask the bell hops in the front for good places to eat. The concierge is fine but they made me feel like I had to give them a tip just for telling me how to get somewhere. I don't feel like I should have to do that unless they make reservations/arrangements for me. Great location - not far from mag mile, navy pier, and great restaurants. read more
